Albert Einstein was a theoretical physicist [just like Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory]. He is most famous for his energy-mass equivalence equation E = mc^{2 }, where energy equals the mass of an object times the speed of light squared. This theory evolved into the theory of relativity. Something is observed from a particular perspective, which impacts what is seen.

This theory goes beyond energy, mass and calculations and pervades life. Things can be misunderstood, misinterpreted or simply mistaken, depending on the point of view of the observer. Take the image above of Einstein himself – he appears to be gazing into the horizon with his hands clasped in quiet contemplation. Now look at the image below, taken from a different angle [or perspective] where the writing on the right hand side can now be easily read. His hands don’t appear as big and it seems that he is begging you (and looking you directly in the eye) to “Follow your dreams, get inspired”.

This is a simple trick of location and sometimes it can make a world of difference in what is perceived. Next time you are surprised or shocked by something, try and see it from another perspective. The added dimension to your thinking is well worth the reward of greater understanding. We all need a little bit of Albert to improve our tolerance.

Why does it need to be one or two dimensional? In the theory of parallel universes, time can be three dimensional. Or have you considered a mobius strip approach?
